Hope you all are having a great New Year.
I've been busy working on my next book, so there isn't much to share. I'm three quarters finished with it.
Lincoln Cole and I will be doing a signing at The Book Loft in German Village on February 4th at 3:00pm, which coincides with the Super Bowl on the same day. Luckily, it's before the game.. My team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, were eliminated from Super Bowl contention last Sunday by the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was a tough loss. I still look forward to the Big Game, though. The last two teams (typically considered the BEST two teams) remaining in the sport's final game on what's referred to as The Biggest Stage? Yeah, I'll be tuning in, regardless if I have a dog in it or not. I'm more looking forward to the signing though. We both hope to meet new readers and maybe sell a book or two.
I'll be fresh off the Borderlands Press Writer's Boot Camp by the time the signing comes around. It takes place in Maryland. And although I'm very excited to attend, I know that I'll miss my family. Being away for just a day when I have to work 3rd shift is bad enough, but an entire weekend?! It'll be hard. Thanks to technology, I'll at least be able to see their faces and hear their voices while I'm away. Face Time is a remarkable tool. When used in the right way, technology can be wonderful. Take note Black Mirror :0)
